What We Do at the Curragh Family Resource Centre

At the Curragh Family Resource Centre, we are dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and our wider community to thrive. Our work is built around four key pillars, Therapeutic Support, Family Support, Youth Resilience, and Community each designed to strengthen wellbeing, connection, and opportunity across all ages.

Therapeutic Support

We provide a safe, confidential, trauma informed and compassionate space where individuals can explore life's challenges with the support of qualified therapists. Our therapeutic services promote emotional wellbeing, healing, and personal growth, supporting people to build resilience and improve their mental health. Through accessible and therapy, we aim to reduce barriers to support and ensure everyone has the opportunity to be heard and understood.

Family Support

Families are at the heart of our community. Our Family Support services work alongside parents, carers, and children to promote strong and healthy relationships. We offer practical guidance, parenting programmes, advocacy, and early intervention supports to help families manage challenges and achieve stability. By empowering families, we strengthen the foundations.

Youth Resilience

Our Youth Resilience pillar focuses on nurturing confidence, wellbeing, and positive identity among young people. We provide safe spaces through our Flourish Programme that encourages participation, creativity, and personal development. Through group work, mentoring, and youth-led initiatives, we help young people build life skills, develop resilience, and reach their full potential supporting the next generation to grow and thrive.

Community

We believe in the power of community. Through collaboration, education, and inclusion, our community work brings people together to create positive change. We encourage participation in projects that promote social connection, equality, and empowerment. Together, we build a stronger, more vibrant community.
